Corazón de Mujer is a movement led by Dr. Leticia Fernández-Friera. Cardiologist and founder of the ATRIA clinic, where she directs the Women’s Unit, director of HM CIEC and coordinator of the Advanced Cardiac Imaging Unit at HM Hospitales.

With the idea of sensitizing the population about cardiovascular diseases and making women aware of the need for self-care, in Cocrazón de Mujer we move in all perceptible areas to improve their health.
II Corazón de Mujer Award. 2023
This year the CDM Award goes to the researcher and geneticist Nabila Bouatia-Naji, director of the French Institute of Health, Basic and Medical Research and a reference in the study of Genetics to understand the pathophysiology of arterial disease. Author of more than 80 publications, she is recognized for her study of genetics in women-specific cardiovascular diseases and an advocate for greater opportunities for female leadership in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) careers.
